What are the first steps?

• Determine your financial planning goals and consider a will or estate plan if you do not have one.  Even modest estates should be carefully planned and can assist you in making sure your wishes are met.

• If you have a will or 401k discuss with your financial planner leaving a portion of your estate to Sisters Of The Road and/or other non-profits you support. Again, even small percentages of estates, life insurance gifts, and/or retirement plans can assure the good work that you support in the community is continued.

• Meet with a professional financial and/or legal advisor to ensure that you receive the maximum tax and legal advantages allowed for your gift.
