Ways to Give

The links on the left are filled with information about how to support Sisters.  We do not have government contracts and we are not a United Way agency.  An incredible 60% of all our funding is from individuals like you!  Donations to Sisters are tax-deductible; our tax ID number is 93-0748169.

When you give to Sisters, you become a living part of what we do.  Your support cares for tired bodies, and nourishes souls.  While women and children are the fastest-growing group of people experiencing homelessness, your support helps us provide a safe place for them to eat and play together.  When Oregon unemployment is some of the worst in the country, your support helps us run a mail service, phone service, and hygiene supply drive that help people look for work, and a barter work program that gives them job skills and references.  When Oregon is found one of the most food “insecure” states in the Union, your support helps us cook nutritious, balanced, very low-cost meals.

The need is great in our City; together we must be greater.

As Genny Nelson, the Co-Founder of Sisters often says,

“Sisters is profoundly about love.”

Help us spread our powerful message of non-violence and compassion in a difficult world.  Thank-you so much for being part of our community.
